Job summary

Egis Cork-based Development Infrastructure team is seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer to join our Cork office and contribute to the planning, design and delivery of residential and commercial developments across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise on high-profile projects with leading private sector clients.

The successful candidate will have strong drainage and infrastructure design experience and be proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with knowledge

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant civil engineering experience.
• Experience in foul and surface water drainage design.
• Experience in watermain design.
• Experience using MicroDrainage or equivalent drainage modelling software.
• Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D.
• High level of competency in AutoCAD.
• Experience working to Uisce Éireann design and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Design & Technical Delivery: Prepare civil engineering designs for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Design foul water, surface water and watermain infrastructure networks.
• Produce drainage strategies, calculations and technical drawings.
• Prepare design reports, specifications and supporting documentation.
• Support planning, tender and construction-stage project activities.
