Job summary

Arcadis in Ireland seeks a Chartered Building Surveyor or APC candidate to join our growing Technical Due Diligence and Building Surveying team. You will support high-profile property transactions, delivering TDD, building surveys and advisory services for lenders and investors, with opportunities to work on UK and European assignments.

You will take responsibility for clear, timely outputs, manage project risk, and maintain strong client relationships while navigating technical and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must have a Building Surveying degree and be RICS qualified or progressing APC.
• Strong technical ability across building surveying services.
• Ability to take a global view and deliver successful outcomes.
• Proven ability to manage project risk effectively.
• Flexible to meet tight project deadlines.
• Strong quality standards and outputs.
• Good understanding of technical, legislative, and commercial requirements.
• Excellent client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Due Diligence (TDD) advice and reporting across asset types with clear, actionable recommendations.
• Undertake professional consultancy including asset condition surveys and dilapidations.
• Prepare and submit planning apps, Fire Safety Certificates and Disability Access Certificates to local authorities.
• Manage project procurement, tender documents, analysis, and contractor appointments; oversee works for quality.
• Act as Assigned Certifier under BC(A)R, ensuring compliance throughout construction.
• Deliver high-quality outputs with clear, timely communication to clients.
• Maintain effective cross-team communication and financial controls.
