Job summary

Codec is seeking a Change Coordinator to manage end-to-end IT change processes, from RFC review through approval, implementation and review, minimising business risk and service disruption. You will act as the central liaison between technical teams, service providers and customers to ensure smooth change execution.

In this role you’ll maintain change records, coordinate CAB and customer approvals, monitor impact and outcomes, and produce management reports.

• Experience in IT Service Management environments.
• Understanding of risk management and service governance.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate submitted RFCs.
• Ensure change records contain required information and classifications are correct.
• Maintain the Change Request backlog and progress statuses.
• Pursue CAB and customer approval requests.
• Challenge incomplete or inadequate change submissions.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and potential service impacts.
• Communicate approved change requests to stakeholders.
• Coordinate customer and internal notifications.
• Ensure stakeholders are informed throughout the change lifecycle.
• Identify and populate correct day rates for chargeable CRs.
• Escalate risks, issues, and scheduling conflicts promptly.
• Verify implementation outcomes and status updates.
• Confirm closure processes are completed and documentation updated.
• Produce change management reports and KPIs.
• Monitor change success rates and change-related incidents.
• Identify trends and recommend process improvements; support audits and compliance reviews.
