Job summary

TikTok is seeking an EMEA Payroll Compliance Manager to lead payroll compliance initiatives across multiple countries. You will design frameworks, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure adherence to labour and tax laws within a dynamic tech environment.

The role requires extensive experience in EMEA payroll and tax compliance, with a strong focus on risk reviews and audits. Collaboration with HR, Legal, and Product teams is essential to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in EMEA payroll and tax compliance.
• Experience leading payroll tax audits and resolving complex tax issues.
• Experience undertaking internal risk reviews covering payroll compliance is essential.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA payroll systems (e.g. Workday, ADP Global View).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement EMEA-wide payroll compliance frameworks with country-specific depth and regional consistency.
• Monitor payroll compliance and regulatory updates at a regional level and update policies accordingly.
• Ensure payroll operations comply with labour, tax and other laws.
• Develop and maintain country-level payroll compliance whitepapers.
• Translate regulatory changes into country-specific operational guidance.
• Provide payroll compliance input to system development and automation.
• Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with HR Technology, Product Team and Legal to enhance payroll systems.
• Manage audits, compliance reviews and regulatory enquiries across the region.
