Job summary

Chartwells Independent in Dublin is seeking a Catering Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a busy commercial setting, delivering outstanding service to around 300 covers per day. You will lead a team, ensure high standards of food safety and guest experience, and act as the service lead during busy periods.

This role offers 40 hours per week, 5/7, with a rate of €17.50 per hour and benefits through Gather and Gather, including development opportunities, pension, health support, and staff

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.
• Supervise, motivate, and support a team.
• Manage service for a busy commercial operation serving approximately 300 covers per day.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards.
• Assist with staffing, training, stock control, and labour management.
• Drive sales opportunities and support the achievement of business performance targets.
• Handle customer feedback professionally, ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
• Act as a key point of contact during service, ensuring efficient operations and strong team communication.

Rate of Pay: €17.50 per hour

Working Pattern: 5/7, 40 hours per week
