Job summary

CH&CO at Airfield Estate, Dundrum, Dublin, is recruiting for a Catering Supervisor. The role oversees Overends Restaurant, delivering excellent guest experiences for up to ~150 covers daily and events including weddings and private functions. 40 hours weekly, 5 over 7 shifts.

Rate of Pay: €17.30 per hour

Shift Pattern:5 over 7 (including evenings during events), 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of Overends Restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.
• Supervise, motivate, and support a team of up to 12 staff per shift.
• Support the management team in delivering successful events across the Airfield Estate, including lunches, dinners, BBQs, weddings, and private functions.
• Manage service for a busy commercial operation serving approximately 150 covers per day.
• Ensure smooth delivery of both a la carte restaurant service and event catering operations.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards.
• Assist with staffing, training, stock control, and labour management.
• Drive sales opportunities and support the achievement of business performance targets.
• Handle customer feedback professionally, ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
• Act as a key point of contact during service, ensuring efficient operations and strong team communication.
