Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Clonmel, Tipperary, is seeking a Full-time Catering Supervisor to join our team. The role covers meal preparation, service, and ensuring high standards.

You will oversee staff, manage schedules, HACCP and Health & Safety compliance, and maintain stock and paperwork. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years kitchen prep and cooking experience.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Clear communication with managers, kitchen staff and school staff & students.
• Must be a team player with time management and organisational skills.
• Flexible - availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of meals accurately and efficiently.
• Fill in where needed to ensure customer service standards and efficient operations.
• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
• Schedule labour as required by anticipated business activity.
• Ensure accurate stocktaking each week.
• Oversee training of personnel in safe operation of equipment and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and H&S regulations.
• Attend training sessions as required.

Job description

Shift Pattern:Monday to Sunday, 30 hours per week
