Job summary

Aramark are currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join one of our successful teams on a client site. The role is to provide catering onsite service in accordance with Aramark’s standardised program to meet or exceed client expectations.

The position involves serving food and beverages to customers, maintaining high hygiene and presentation standards, and ensuring safe storage and handling of items. A strong customer-focused approach and knowledge of HACCP are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• High personal standards and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP.
• Keen interest in developing food preparation skills and culinary knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Aramark.
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
• Preparation of service area and/or service points.
• Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations always.
• To always present an image conducive to good customer relations.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s equal opportunity policy.
