Job summary

Aramark are currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join one of our client site teams on a part-time basis. The role is to provide onsite catering service in accordance with Aramark's standardised program to meet or exceed client expectations.

This is a part-time role. You will perform food service, assist with basic food preparation, and uphold hygiene and safety standards while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers on site.

Qualifications

• High personal standards with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in a similar role (essential).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP.
• Interest in developing food preparation skills and culinary knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverages to customers in line with Aramark standards.
• Carry out cleaning duties related to service areas, equipment, and furniture.
• Prepare service areas and/or service points.
• Ensure correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform in line with company regulations at all times.
• Present a professional image that supports positive customer relations.
• Comply with and support the company’s health and safety policy.
• Comply with and support the company’s equal opportunities policy.
• Adapt to changes in duties as required to meet business needs.
