Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd is seeking a Catering Assistant for our Dublin contracts within a large school environment. You will support breakfast, lunch and dinner services, help set up dining rooms and ensure food is prepared and presented to hygiene standards.

You will work with a friendly team, interact with staff and pupils, and follow health and safety procedures. Prior catering experience and good English communication are preferred; a food hygiene certificate is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment.
• Ability to serve customers during service.
• Adherence to hygiene and safety practices.
• Good communication in English.
• Ability to lift moderately heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients during Breakfast, lunch or dinner service.
• Help setting up the dining room for service.
• Prepare food for service following hygiene standards.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean to the required standard.
• Clear, clean and store away items for functions.
• Restock and replenish stocks during service periods.
• Operate cleaning/dishwashing equipment and clean areas.
• Carry out cleaning/hygiene duties.
• Interact and acknowledge customers and staff.
