NHS Scotland is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our busy hospital kitchen. You will work as part of a large team to prepare and plate patient meals, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. You must follow instructions and communicate effectively to support high-quality patient care.
Mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland apply, and full training will be provided where needed. An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not required.

As a catering assistant you will be working in the hospitals busy kitchen to work as part of a large team to maintain a clean safe working environment & to assist in the plating up of all patient meals. You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but full training will be given.
