Job summary

Finning (Ireland) Ltd. seeks a Mobile Plant Fitter to respond to customer field service requests and diagnose problems for prompt quotes. You will work across Cork, Mitchelstown, Dungarvan and nearby areas, using CAT diagnostic tools to repair plant equipment.

Role requires strong customer focus, clear communication and the ability to work autonomously or in a team. Benefits include salary, bonus, holidays and a pension plan, with a company-driven training program.

Qualifications

• Field-based diagnosis tools essential for on-site repairs.
• Heavy Earth Moving equipment operating knowledge required.
• LDV driving licence is essential.
• Apprectice trained engineer or formal training with significant service experience.
• Experience with construction and static machines is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer site and diagnose issues, providing detailed information for quotes.
• Identify parts and estimate delivery to schedule service visits.
• Perform repair and service work to plan, reinstalling components as needed.
• Communicate with site management to ensure safety and site procedures.
