Job summary

Cheshire Ireland is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Care Support Workers to join our team in Co. Wicklow. Hold QQI Level 5 Healthcare or QQI Level 6 Social Care or a nursing qualification, and have experience supporting people with disabilities.

A Full Manual Driving Licence is required and willingness to drive for work. You will work across a 24-hour roster in residential and community settings, upholding rights-based, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Hold or be in the process of QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or QQI Level 6 Social Care or a Nursing qualification.
• Experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Full Manual Driving Licence and willingness to drive for work.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and good English.

Responsibilities

• Support people with all aspects of daily living and adapt to personal plans.
• Establish and maintain respectful, rights-based relationships to promote independence.
• Work in Cheshire Ireland’s values and continuous improvement culture.
