Job summary
Cheshire Ireland is hiring Care Support Workers to assist adults with disabilities in Mayo and surrounding areas. The role requires QQI Level 5/6 or nursing qualification, strong communication, and a full manual driving licence. Qualifications
- Hold or be in the process of undertaking a minimum of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or a minimum of QQI Level 6 Social Care or a Nursing qualification.
- Experience in supporting people with disabilities is required.
- Willing to undertake QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support within 18 months if lacking QQI Level 5/6.
- Full Manual Driving Licence and willingness to drive for work.

- Support people with all aspects of their daily lives as per individual needs and personal plans.
- Establish and maintain relationships based on respect and equality to promote rights and independence.
- Work in a rights-based, person-centred service with a commitment to continuous improvement.
