Prosper Meath Limited is recruiting Care Assistants to join our Day Services teams in Navan, Watergate Street and Canon Row. One maternity leave cover position is available in each service and you will support adults with intellectual disabilities and autism to build independence and meaningful daily lives.

You will work with families and professionals, deliver person-centred supports, help people achieve goals, and contribute to planning and records.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 major award in Healthcare Support or Health Service Skills required.
• Full, clean manual driving licence required.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills.
• Positive, person-centred approach with commitment to helping people achieve their goals.

• Deliver person-centred supports around each individual's needs and preferences.

2 Specified Purpose Contracts - Maternity Leave Cover

30 Hours per Week per Position

Salary: €33,129-€47,902 full-time equivalent per annum, based on relevant experience and pro rata for contracted hours.

Prosper Meath is recruiting Care Assistants to join our Day Services teams in Watergate Street and Canon Row, Navan, with one maternity leave cover position available in each service.

You will support adults with intellectual disabilities and autism to build independence, develop relationships and explore new opportunities. Working alongside each person, you will get to know their interests, build their confidence and support them to shape their daily lives.

About The Role

Working as part of our Navan teams, you will:

• Deliver person-centred supports around each individual's needs and preferences.
• Help individuals identify and work towards their personal goals.
• Support independence and the development of everyday living skills.
• Create opportunities for community involvement, social activities and meaningful relationships.
• Work closely with families, colleagues and other professionals.

What You Will Need

• A completed QQI Level 5 major award in Healthcare Support or Health Service Skills, or an equivalent relevant qualification - essential.
• A full, clean manual driving licence - essential.

• A positive, person-centred approach and commitment to supporting people to achieve their goals.
