Job summary
Corlann in Limerick is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at multiple locations (Limerick City, Doon, Foynes). We offer permanent and relief contracts with day and night shifts. The role involves providing personal care, helping with meals and hygiene, and supporting individuals with their Individual Plans and community participation.
We require a QQI Level 5 qualification and a full manual driving license. Corlann Ireland is an Equal Opportunities Employer.

- Have a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in an appropriate or relevant field.
- Hold a full manual driving license which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads.
Responsibilities
- Care Assistants provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. This includes personal care during the day such as meals and hygiene.
- A major focus is to assist People Supported by the Services with development on Individual Plans and achievement of outcomes.
- Support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration.

Care Assistants provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. This role comprises two main elements. Firstly the Care Assistant is responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being. Secondly, a major focus of the Care Assistant role is to assist and support People Supported by the Services with development on Individual Plan's and achievement of associated outcomes. In addition, a critical component of this role is to support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration
