Job summary

Corlann South East is seeking Support Workers in Cashel, Cahir, and nearby towns to provide compassionate care for people with intellectual disabilities. Roles include permanent and temporary positions across adult day and residential services, with various full-time and part-time hours available.

The role focuses on personal care, daily support, and helping individuals achieve their individual plans while promoting community participation and independence.

Support Worker (Care Assistant), South Tipperary (Cashel, Cahir, Tipperary Town)

Corlann South East are looking for bright, ambitious individuals who have a positive attitude towards working with people with an intellectual disability and who are committed to ensuring that our persons supported lead as fulfilling and enjoyable a life as possible.

• Support Worker – Permanent, Part Time (70 hours per fortnight), Adult Day Service (positions in Cashel, Cahir and Tipperary Town)
• Support Worker – Permanent, Part Time (60 hours per fortnight), Adult Day Service (Cashel)
• Support Worker – Permanent, Full Time (78 hours per fortnight), Adult Residential Service (Cahir)
• Support Worker – Permanent, Part Time (39 hours per fortnight), Adult Residential Service (positions in Cashel and Cahir)
• Support Worker – Temporary, Full Time (78 hours per fortnight), Adult Residential Service (Cashel)

The role of a Support Worker

Support Workers provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. They are responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being. Secondly, a major focus of the Support Worker role is to assist and support People Supported by the Services with the development of their Individual Plans and achievement of associated outcomes. In addition, a critical component of this role is to support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration.
