Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac, peripheral, and EP procedures. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining current imaging techniques, operating lab equipment, and monitoring patient responses while adhering to HIPAA and privacy policies.

Qualifications

• Radiography certification/ARRT or RCIS required within one year.
• Graduate of an ARRT RT-R or RCIS program.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification (AHA).
• Background clearance checks required (Act 34/33/73, FBI).
• Preferred: Associate degree.
• Preferred: 1 year experience in cath lab/interventional radiology/radiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac, peripheral, and EP procedures.
• Maintain expertise in radiographic imaging techniques for invasive procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Monitor procedural effects and respond to adverse reactions.
• Complete documentation for procedures, including regulatory, billing, and image storage.
