Job summary

Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Pediatric Cath Lab in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time position offers day shifts and involves diagnostic imaging and interventional cardiac procedures in a state-of-the-art facility at Wolfson Children's Hospital.

The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire, supported by our team. Responsibilities include preparing the EP Lab, performing or assisting in ECGs, catheters, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associates degree preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RCIS or ARRT licensed/certified technologist in cardiac interventional radiography.
• Experience in cath laboratory settings encouraged but not required (less than 1 year).
• Registered radiologic technologist or RCIS credentials required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures in the cath lab.
• Assist in electrocardiograms, catheterizations, and pulmonary function testing.
• Prepare EP Lab for patient admissions for cardiac procedures.
• Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during procedures and document results.
