Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to provide skilled care during procedures, prepare patients, and monitor hemodynamics. You will ensure accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance to promote optimal outcomes.

The role requires PA RN licensure (or equivalent eNLC), BLS/ACLS, and competency in sterile technique; RCIS is encouraged within five years. Ability to adapt to fast-paced interventional settings is essential.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• RCIS Certification encouraged within five years
• BLS and ACLS Certification
• Act 34/33/73 background clearances required

Responsibilities

• Assists in care of patients undergoing Cardiac Cath Lab and related procedures.
• Positions patients and assists physicians; maintains sterile field.
• Monitors sedation, vasoactive meds, and anticoagulants as directed.
• Documents procedures and participates in QA activities.
• Cross-train across areas as needed
