Job summary

University College Dublin is inviting applications for a permanent post of University Campus Manager within UCD Estate Services. The successful candidate will join the University Campus Manager team, taking an active role in managing normal campus operations, service provision and project activity across the campus(es).

The role requires coordinating incident response on a 24‑hour basis to safeguard the university community and support the experiences of over 4,000 students living on campuses.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities essential for campus liaison and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in operations or facilities management is required.
• Ability to adapt work practices to shift-based coverage and 24/7 presence.
• Proven capability to manage critical incidents and operate under pressure.
• Competence in handling data and records to support campus services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily campus operations and service delivery across campus sites.
• Lead and participate in incident response, ensuring timely and effective action 24/7.
• Liaise with senior university management and external stakeholders on campus issues.
• Support project activity across campus operations and facilities initiatives.
• Ensure operational quality standards are set, achieved, and maintained.
