Job summary

Our client are a highly respected educational institution in Ireland. They are seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead both the strategic development and day-to-day operations of their multi-site campus estate in Dublin.

The role requires strong leadership, experience across health & safety, compliance, and financial oversight, and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class estate operation.

Qualifications

• Proven background in facilities, property, construction, or engineering project management.
• Strong track record in H&S, statutory compliance, PPM, and contractor management.
• Solid commercial and financial acumen with experience reporting to senior leadership/boards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive long-term estate planning, continuous improvement, and capital investment projects while acting as Secretary to the Buildings Sub-Committee of the Board.
• Operations & Compliance: Direct daily facilities services, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Health & Safety, and statutory compliance across academic, sports, and performance spaces.
• Project & Finance Management: Oversee procurement, contractor relationships, budget allocation, and the delivery of major refurbishment and infrastructure projects.
• Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the Operations Manager, Financial Controller, Leadership Team, and Board of Management to advise on operational risk and estate performance.
