Job summary

Aramark is hiring for a Full-time on-site Food Service Worker in Wicklow, Ireland. You will prepare food per recipes, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and support barista duties where required.

Key responsibilities include serving customers, ensuring HACCP compliance, cleaning work areas, handling cash, and attending training sessions. English proficiency and prior catering experience are desirable, with a basic food hygiene qualification due within six months.

Qualifications

• Must acquire basic food hygiene qualification within first six months.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.
• 1 year’s experience in a similar environment.
• Previous experience in a catering environment desirable.
• Good understanding of English.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverages to customers to company standards.
• Ensure HACCP and food hygiene regulations are followed.
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
• Preparation of service area and/or service points.
• Clean and replenish service equipment.
• Accurate storage of food items and equipment after service.
• Food assembly and service of same in an efficient manner, which may include some light cooking.
• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
• Attend in-house training sessions.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations.
• To present an image at all times conducive to good customer relations.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s policies and procedures.
• Other duties occasionally assigned by the Management team to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Job Description

The Food Service Worker is responsible for cooking and preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. The Cook should safely handle knives and equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, broilers, etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by the company.
• Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular H.A.C.C.P regulations
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
• Preparation of service area and/or service points.
• Clean and replenish service equipment.

• Handling cash transactions and ensuring the accurate cash handling procedures are followed in accordance with company procedure and till procedures.

• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy.
