Job summary

WGNSTAR, An ABM Company, is seeking a Cabling Technician to support the manufacturing process in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. The role focuses on installing, de-installing, upgrading, and relocating semiconductor equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have a technical qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher), be able to travel internationally, and work in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE. The position offers a 6-month fixed-term contract with a 39-hour week.

The Purpose of the Role

As a Cabling Technician, you will be supporting the Customer in key areas throughout the manufacturing process. Your role will be centered around adhering to facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety and quality.

Person Specification

• Possess a clean passport and driving license
• Flexibility to spend extended periods (1 – 4 weeks) on business travel as required
• Good working knowledge of MS package
• A strong team player with ability to work well within a diverse team
• Have excellent organisational, time keeping, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different tasks and to prioritise activities

Work Schedule

39-hour regular working week (Monday to Friday)

Physical Requirements

• Have strong physical stamina to have the ability to stand, stoop, walk and reach for the duration of an 8-hour shift (breaks excluded)
