Job summary

WGNSTAR, An ABM Company, is seeking a Cabling Technician to support the manufacturing process in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. The role focuses on installing, de-installing, upgrading, and relocating semiconductor equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have a technical qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher), be able to travel internationally, and work in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE. The position offers a 6-month fixed-term contract with a 39-hour week.

Qualifications

• A technical qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher).
• Working in a controlled cleanroom environment with gowning and PPE.
• Availability to travel internationally as a representative of WGNSTAR, An ABM Company.
• Ability to secure access to client facilities in Europe, USA, Asia, and the Middle East.
• 100% compliance with safety and protocol specs and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Installation, de-installation, upgrade, and relocation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Work as part of a team within a tight timeline and procedural constraints delivering a quality-driven client service.
• Maintaining cleanroom and company protocols.
• Ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Performing quality checks in line with process specifications.
• Using MS Office and in-house computer system as required.
