Job description

Access Healthcare is a growing Irish healthcare recruitment consultancy, providing staffing solutions across Ireland and Northern Ireland. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager to join our Dublin team and play a key role in supporting the continued development of the business.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people manager to take ownership of a broad range of business operations and strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director, you will manage a team of approximately 10 people across Learning & Development, Business Change, HR, IT, Software Applications, Marketing, and Business Support.

Over the next 12 months, the role, its responsibilities, and the teams will be progressively handed over to you, with mentoring throughout so you gain a full understanding of the people and functions across the business.

Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and teams across Dublin, Porto, and Ahmedabad, you will help identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of operating, while ensuring the business continues to run effectively as it grows.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 people across a diverse range of business functions.
  • Drive business improvement and strategic initiatives, coordinating projects and identifying opportunities to improve processes and collaboration across teams.
  • Oversee technology and business systems, including the IT roadmap, software optimisation, technology vendors, and the use of technology to enable the business.
  • Manage business operations and infrastructure, including office and facilities management and relationships with outsourced partners.
  • Oversee key people and business functions, including HR processes, Learning & Development, marketing, website management, and business support.
  • Manage business risk and governance, including privacy, risk registers, contracts, recruitment licences, insurance, and legal claims.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in people management, ideally managing teams across multiple functions with 5+ people.
  • Experience in project management, business change, or delivering strategic initiatives.
  • Comfortable collaborating across multiple areas of a business and managing competing priorities.
  • Commercial and business-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable cooperating with senior stakeholders and teams across multiple locations.
  • Ad vantagous (but not essential): experience in management consulting, professional services, recruitment, or business support, which will give you a head start in understanding our business and our clients.
