Dublin City University is inviting applications for the position of Business Analyst (Professional 5A), a permanent contract based in Dublin. The role focuses on driving the operational reporting lifecycle and ensuring reporting assets align with university objectives.
It requires coordinating with core units and technical teams to translate needs into actionable specifications and to deliver training as needed.
Reporting to the Head of Curriculum Management Service (CMS), the post holder will drive all aspects of the operational reporting lifecycle - encompassing requirements definition, design, validation, deployment, and ongoing enhancements. This position ensures that all reporting assets remain accurate, operationally robust, and strictly aligned with core University business objectives.
Working closely with key business units and technical teams, the post holder will bridge operational needs and technical execution. They will convert administrative requirements into detailed specifications, ensuring operational reporting effectively enables decision-making in critical areas such as Curriculum Management, Enrolment, and Awards. Possessing highly developed stakeholder engagement capability as well as business process and data understanding, they will deliver reporting-related training and, where relevant, will contribute to the development and delivery of broader systems-related training.
The Head of Curriculum Management Services reports to the Senior Director of Academic Governance, Operations and Systems, OVPAA.

Professional 5A: €60,580 - €81,922
Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
