Job summary

You will ensure operators gain the skills and confidence to excel, with focus on Busbar machinery, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include delivering hands-on training, maintaining training plans and matrices, and supporting inductions.

Qualifications

• Fully competent in the operation of Busbar machinery and processes.
• Demonstrated competency across Busbar operations.
• Ability to coach, instruct, and assess others in a workshop environment.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices within a manufacturing environment.
• Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical processes to colleagues of all skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical, hands-on training across Busbar machinery and processes.
• Develop, implement and maintain structured training plans.
• Assess operator competency and support progression through grading structure.
• Identify skills gaps and deliver targeted development plans.
• Coach, mentor and support operators to develop confidence and independence.
• Deliver training on safe working practices, quality standards and SOPs.
• Maintain training records and update the Busbar Training Matrix.
• Support inductions and onboarding in the Busbar area.
• Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of dies and tooling.
• Monitor tooling condition and coordinate replacements.
