Job summary

Howden Ireland is seeking a Broker Support Executive to assist our Wholesale broker network from the Kill office with policy administration and client service. You will manage daily workloads, log submissions and prepare schedules and endorsements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

We seek an organized professional with strong communication and attention to detail who can progress toward an Account Executive role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years administration experience desirable.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Aptitude for learning involves working towards an insurance qualification (APA Commercial) within 12 months.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance administration systems.
• High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise daily workloads through the team task list.
• Respond to broker queries via shared inboxes and escalate as needed.
• Log new business and renewal submissions accurately and promptly.
• Prepare, check and issue policy documentation including schedules and endorsements.
• Raise and issue invoices to brokers within required timeframes.
• Monitor outstanding broker balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Support renewal processes with timely pre-renewal documentation.
