Job summary

Howden Ireland is seeking a meticulous Broker Support Executive to assist our wholesale broker network with policy administration and delivering exceptional service. The role reports to the Team Leader within the Wholesale Commercial team in Kill.

You will manage daily workloads, respond to broker queries, process new business and renewals, and assist with invoicing and payments. There is a clear path to progression toward Account Executive, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Extremely well organised with excellent time management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for learning involves working towards an insurance qualification with APA Commercial within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize daily workloads through the team task list, ensuring activities meet service levels.
• Respond to broker queries promptly via shared inboxes and escalate as needed.
• Log new business and renewal submissions from brokers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare, check and issue policy documentation including schedules and endorsements.
• Raise and issue invoices to brokers within required timeframes.
• Monitor outstanding broker balances and assist in resolving payment queries.
