Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Ireland is seeking a kitchen assistant to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily running of the kitchen. You will help ensure food quality and hygiene standards are met and contribute to a smooth service in a busy hotel environment.

With a passion for food and a collaborative approach, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver great guest experiences while upholding HACCP regulations and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotels or similar kitchen role.
• Passion for food and guest experience.
• Mature, pleasant manner when dealing with customers and team members.
• Team player who collaborates with others.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef and Sous Chef with the kitchen's overall running.
• Monitor food quality and hygiene standards as directed by managers.
• Follow Head Chef's guidance on excellence and efficiency.
• Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
• Support staff in maintaining hygiene during food prep and storage.
