Job summary

Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny is seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing breakfast dishes to a high standard and ensuring presentation, quality and portion control.

Successful candidates will work early morning shifts, have HACCP knowledge, stay composed under pressure and collaborate closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Qualifications

• Previous breakfast chef experience or similar kitchen role
• Proven ability to work early morning shifts and adapt to early hours
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Solid knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet time frames
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to the highest standards
• Ensure food quality, presentation and consistency in everything you do
• Manage breakfast service efficiently during busy periods
• Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards at all times in the kitchen

Duties include but are not limited to

• Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to the highest standards.

Requirements For This Role

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar kitchen role
• Ability to work early morning shifts with flexibility in mind.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
• Ability to work well under pressure / Time - Frames
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
