Job summary

Sodexo Ireland is seeking a dedicated Breakfast Chef to join our on-site catering team. This part-time role focuses on delivering high-quality breakfast options and maintaining kitchen hygiene. You will work 8 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 1pm, earning €15.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Essential: positive attitude, professionalism and customer focus.
• Basic food-handling skills and ability to present food nicely.
• Willing to learn and adapt; industry experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cook breakfast items for on-site staff and guests.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and sanitize equipment.
• Assist with food preparation and stock replenishment.
• Serve and replenish at counters, interact with customers.
• Handle deliveries and FIFO stock management.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Breakfast Chef to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in Catering.

What you will do

• Cook up mouthwatering breakfast options for our on site team
• Ensure hygiene maintenance of all aspects of the kitchen
• Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations before, during & after service
• Support chefs with food preparation
• Help prepare, serve and replenish food from counters such as hot plates, deli bar, breakfast bars and break down stations at the end of meal periods
• Interact with customers in the serving, retail, and dining areas
• Assist with deliveries and replenishing stock (First in, first out)
• Serving customers on the till
