Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is inviting you to join our kitchen team as a hands-on Kitchen Assistant. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly, ensure food quality and hygiene standards, and contribute to a fast-paced service with excellence and efficiency.

We value passion for food, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. HACCP knowledge and professional conduct are essential, with opportunities for development through our Dalata

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotels or a similar role.
• Passion for food and genuine interest.
• Mature, pleasant manner and team player.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Good knowledge of HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and monitor food quality and hygiene standards.
• Follow the Head chef's example of excellence and efficiency.
• Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
• Support fellow kitchen staff in observing hygiene during food preparation and storage.
