Job summary

HRconsultants.ie seeks an experienced Branch Lead for a busy financial services branch in Donegal Town, Ireland. You will lead a small team, ensuring an excellent in-branch experience and assisting customers with everyday banking and mortgage needs.

Reporting to regional leadership, you will drive performance, uphold risk and compliance standards, manage daily operations and cash handling, and foster strong community relations to enhance the customer journey.

Qualifications

• QFA qualification and banking/financial services experience.
• Experience leading or developing a small team.
• Strong understanding of risk, compliance and operational controls.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in banking or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a small branch team.
• Drive branch performance and customer experience.
• Use MI and performance data to monitor and improve results.
• Maintain risk, compliance and operational standards.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, cash handling and security.
• Manage customer complaints and escalations.
• Build relationships within the local community.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to implement change and improve customer experience.
