Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations within a regulated biotechnology facility in the Limerick region. The role covers planning and coordinating electrical, mechanical and calibration maintenance activities in line with GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or relevant experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation or Maintenance Engineering.
• Previous maintenance planning or maintenance coordination experience.
• Experience using CMMS systems.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance activities.
• Support electrical, mechanical and calibration maintenance functions.
• Prepare and manage maintenance work orders through the site CMMS.
• Coordinate labour, materials, spare parts and equipment requirements.
• Raise and manage relevant Permits to Work and isolation requirements.
• Support maintenance-related deviations, investigations and follow-up actions.
• Liaise with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Quality and EHS teams.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, backlog and overdue activities.
• Ensure maintenance documentation meets GMP and data integrity requirements.
• Support shutdowns, outages and continuous improvement initiatives.
