Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking a Maintenance Team Supervisor (Mechanical & Electrical) to lead the maintenance team onsite in Limerick, Ireland. You will oversee daily operations in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment, ensuring tasks are carried out to standard and shifts are balanced efficiently.

You will drive 1:1 coaching, upskilling, and performance management while coordinating with client leadership and Jones HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years maintenance in GMP/pharma environment.
• Supervisory experience in multi-shift operations.
• Knowledge of GMP, ALCOA+ and compliance.
• CMMS familiarity (SAP/Maximo).
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Safety/audit certifications desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the maintenance team in GMP environment.
• Ensure clear task ownership and standard completion.
• Manage shift handovers and timesheet approvals.
• Maintain client updates and participate in huddles.
• Conduct regular 1:1s with technicians.
• Escalate issues with documented controls.
• Lead development check-ins and upskilling roadmaps.
• Track holidays and ensure coverage across shifts.
• Monitor training and compliance status.
• Uphold ALCOA+ data integrity and CMMS usage.
• Prioritize corrective maintenance aligned with GMP/SOPs.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and resource planning.
