Johnson & Johnson in Cork, Ireland is seeking a Manufacturing Process Specialist to represent operations on capital project teams and support day-to-day troubleshooting in a GMP environment. You will help monitor and optimize manufacturing processes, lead cross-functional initiatives, and contribute to commissioning, qualification, and documentation activities.

The role requires a GMP background, familiarity with DCS/PLC systems, and experience with process engineering and QC documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Science or Engineering.
• Manufacturing experience within a GMP regulated environment.
• Experience of the cell culture or purification processes.
• Project / New equipment installation experience.
• Process engineering experience.
• Commissioning and qualification experience.
• Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience of DCS (e.g. Delta V), SCADA and PLC systems.
• Experience of SAP, LIM’s and/or other business systems.
• Six-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving/decision making methodology training.

Responsabilités

• Represent Operations on cross functional project teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the manufacturing process and equipment issues and process optimization.
• Monitor and report process performance using statistical process control.
• Troubleshoot DCS and PLC systems.
• Lead/participate in cross-functional teams to support site goals.
• Support commissioning and qualification activities.
• Prepare and update Batch Records, Procedures and Work Instructions.
