Job summary

Stryker Ireland in Limerick is offering a cooperative placement where you will perform testing on medical device products and components using automated, semi-automated and manual methods. You will report results and participate in process improvement projects with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor.

To be eligible, you must be enrolled at an Irish or Northern Irish university for 6, 9 or 12 months; exact duration to be discussed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an Irish or Northern Irish university for the duration of the cooperative placement.
• Must be able to analyze and correct complex testing issues with independent judgment.
• Good visual acuity and fine motor skills; observe and correct minute inconsistencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on medical device products and components using automated, semi-automated and manual methods.
• Follow test request protocols and report results in written and verbal form.
• Assist in developing, validating and revising testing procedures and specifications.
• Coordinate with R&D, Advanced Operations and Global Quality Operations on testing of new and existing products.
• Maintain lab documentation and housekeeping to the highest standard; ensure FDA/compliance alignment.
