Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd. is seeking a BIM Technician to support the 3D Revit MEP modelling and coordination for mechanical and electrical services.

You will work with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure clash-free results and integrated models across design, prefabrication, and on-site installation. The role focuses on developing accurate BIM models, producing drawings and fabrication packs, and maintaining version-controlled data in the CBD.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D Revit MEP modelling for mechanical and electrical services.
• Ability to coordinate models and ensure clash-free designs.
• Familiarity with federated models and documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support development/maintenance of 3D Revit MEP models.
• Coordinate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers and Project Managers.
• Prepare federated models using Revizto and update models per design changes.
• Produce 2D drawings and fabrication/installation packs.
• Maintain accurate information in the common data environment (CDE).
• Support site teams with up-to-date construction information and participate in model reviews.
