Job summary

Irish Engineering Consultancy is expanding its BIM team in Dublin and seeks a BIM Technician with strong Revit MEP experience to support large data centre projects. You will produce coordinated BIM models, run clash detections, and support deliverables to programme through close collaboration with the BIM Project Manager and design teams.

The role offers hybrid working in Dublin, with a focus on data centre packages, multi-disciplinary coordination and maintaining BIM standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced Revit MEP experience essential.
• Experience delivering BIM on MEP or multidisciplinary projects.
• Hands-on BIM coordination and clash detection experience.
• Good understanding of BIM standards, QA processes and coordination workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain coordinated Revit MEP models.
• Produce accurate drawings from Revit models.
• Carry out clash detection using Navisworks or similar software.
• Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines.
• Work with Engineering teams to resolve coordination issues.
• Set up and develop models in line with client BEP requirements.
• Maintain model integrity, naming conventions and data consistency.
• Monitor model health, performance and file size.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project programme and milestones.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with internal and external project teams.

The Company

This Irish engineering consultancy delivers major data centre, energy and mission critical projects across Ireland and EMEA.

They are expanding their BIM team in Dublin and are looking for a BIM Technician with strong Revit MEP experience to support the delivery of large scale data centre projects.

The Role: BIM Technician

As BIM Technician, you will produce accurate, coordinated Revit models and drawings for complex MEP packages on data centre projects.

Working closely with the BIM Project Manager, Design Engineers and wider project team, you will be responsible for day-to-day model production, clash coordination and ensuring BIM deliverables are completed accurately and to programme.

Must Have Requirements

• Advanced Revit MEP experience is essential
• Experience delivering BIM on MEP or multidisciplinary projects
• Hands on experience with BIM coordination and clash detection
• Good understanding of BIM standards, QA processes and coordination workflows

About You

You will have practical BIM experience within MEP, building services or multidisciplinary engineering projects, with advanced Revit MEP capability.

Experience on data centres or other large scale technically complex projects would be particularly beneficial.

Knowledge of Navisworks, ACC/FORMA, ISO 19650 principles and Revit add-ins would also be advantageous.
