Job summary

Purcell Construction is seeking a BIM Engineer to join our Dublin/Leinster team. The role focuses on implementing and coordinating BIM processes across multiple projects, managing project models and ensuring information is accurate, compliant and coordinated.

You will collaborate with consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams, contribute to BIM reporting, CDE management and digital workflows, and support design, construction and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ BIM or Design Coordination experience.
• Experience in construction, engineering or building services sectors.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, industry standards and CDEs.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and ACC.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Excellent organisational, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and coordination of BIM processes across multiple projects.
• Manage and coordinate project BIM models with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Assist with model reviews, clash detection, BIM reporting and CDE management.
• Support design, construction and handover activities through BIM documentation, QA checks and digital workflows.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of BIM standards, processes and digital delivery methods.
