Job summary

Suir Engineering is hiring a BIM Detailer for a Semi Conductor project in Ireland. The role is based at Citywest on a hybrid model, supporting modelling from P&IDs through 3D Plant design.

You will collaborate with design engineers, project teams and subcontractors to deliver coordinated BIM packages. We seek candidates with 2–3 years in BIM coordination within MEP environments, familiar with Plant3D, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360 and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• BIM qualification or certification is desirable.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in BIM coordination within an MEP contractor or consulting engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Model and Coordinate BIM models.
• Ensure all project models comply with company/Project standards, BEPs, and BIM protocols.
• Assist in Model federation and coordination using Autodesk Navisworks and ACC (BIM 360).
• Conduct regular clash detection exercises and issue clash reports.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with design teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor model quality, completeness, and compliance throughout project delivery.
• Coordinate model updates with project stakeholders.
