Job summary

BoyleSports in Coolock is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support daily shop operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will assist the Shop Manager, manage the shop during absences, handle cash, and help customers navigate our multi-channel betting options.

We value trust, integrity, and flexibility in a fast-paced retail setting. The role involves opening/closing, training, and maintaining high presentation standards while promoting our in-shop and online offerings.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to handle cash and operate EPOS or similar systems.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Comfortable in a seven-day week operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with the day to day running of the shop.
• Step up and guide shop operations in the absence of the Shop and Assistant Manager including opening and closing the shop.
• Managing and guiding the shop team.
• Cash management procedures.
• Opportunity to manage on occasion with development opportunities.
• Provide outstanding customer experience with a friendly and knowledgeable approach.
• Accept bets through multiple channels and EPOS.
• Introduce customers to multi-channel/digital journey.
• Work under pressure and stay calm while improving the shop.
• Maintain shop presentation standards.
• Ensure procedures (safety, compliance) followed.
• Team environment and social responsibility duties.
• Introduce customers to in shop and online offerings.
