Better Energy Homes (BEH) - Programme Executive for SEAI in Ireland leads day-to-day program operations, develops IT reports and dashboards, and liaises with stakeholders to ensure governance and compliance. Qualifications

  • Honours NFQ level 8 or greater in Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management or related field with minimum 3 years in customer service or business process environments.
  • Or an ordinary NFQ level 7 or greater with minimum 5 years in customer experience or business process environments.
  • Or a third level certificate NFQ Level 6 with minimum 7 years in customer experience or business process environments.
  • Experience of working in cross functional teams developing organisational relationships.
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of technical development, including change management, scope, risk, and business process development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presenting, public speaking.
  • Successful track record of delivering programmes analyses.
  • Experience in supporting IT projects.
  • Experience of working with the housing retrofit supply chain.
  • Experience in developing reports and managing dashboard reporting.
  • Experience of lean process management.
  • Experience of working in energy-related policy environment across the public sector, academia or industry and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in the Irish Language.
  • Experience or knowledge of delivering positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Role Profile

We have an exciting opportunity in the Better Energy Homes Team in the Delivery Department of the National Retrofit Directorate.

The position will play a key role in supporting the Better Energy Homes Engineer and Programme Manager with the day-to-day management of the scheme and supporting the role out of new initiatives and systems, underpinned by Governance and Compliance structures.

The Better Energy Homes Programme is focussed on supporting Ireland in reaching its Climate Action Plan goals for 2030 and beyond by offering a range of individual energy efficiency upgrade grants to residential property owners.

As Programme Executive for the Better Energy Homes Programme, you will be involved in the day to day running of the Programme including ongoing quality management, ensuring efficient Programme processes, development of continuous process improvements, development of IT reports, liaising with third party stakeholders, among other duties.

This position will report to the Better Energy Homes Engineer.

The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI’s targets under the Climate Action Plan.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • An honours degree (a minimum NFQ level 8 or greater) in a relevant area such as Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management or other relevant discipline and minimum of 3 years directly relevant experience working in customer service or business process environments.

OR

  • An ordinary degree (a minimum NFQ level 7 or greater) in a relevant area such as Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management or other relevant discipline and minimum of 5 years directly relevant experience working in customer experience or business process environments.

OR

  • A third level certificate (a minimum NFQ Level 6) in a relevant area such as Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management or other relevant discipline and minimum of 7 years directly relevant experience directly relevant experience working in customer experience or business process environments.
  • Experience of working in cross functional teams developing organisational relationships.

Eligibility to Work

The SEAI has a legal obligation to ensure that all employees are lawfully entitled to work in Ireland. To qualify, candidates must hold a valid visa on the date of application and where applicable to support a candidate’s application, candidates must submit a valid work permit/visa confirming permission to work in Ireland when requested.
