Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Club programmes, operating on-site at schools with engaging activities for national-aged children. This part-time role involves supervising children, helping with homework, and delivering a variety of planned activities with energy and care.

Responsibilities include supervising during activities, assisting with crafts and games, and creating a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor).
• Bring lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
