Job summary

The Moorings in Ireland is seeking an experienced hospitality professional with cocktail making skills to join our team. A minimum of two years in food and beverage service and a positive, proactive attitude are essential for success in our fast-paced environment.

Accommodation is provided, and you will be required to work flexible shifts. The role emphasizes excellent customer care and high standards, with opportunities to contribute to menu development and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years hospitality experience.
• Strong working knowledge of food & beverage service.
• Cocktail making experience.
• Must have authorisation to work in Ireland and start immediately.
• Positive and proactive thinker with excellent customer care skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service and handling complaints tactfully.
• Maintain quality control for all drinks served.
• Utilise product knowledge to upsell and train staff.
• Forecast future needs and order bar supplies and cleaning products.
• Maintain health and safety regulation standards.
• Seek ways to cut waste and decrease costs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally.
• Maintain quality control for all drinks served.
• Excellent product knowledge to allow menu development, upselling & training.
• Project future needs & ordering for goods, bar supplies, and cleaning products; order accordingly.
• Maintain health and safety regulation standards.
• Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs.
