The Harbour Hotel Galway City is seeking an experienced Bar & Restaurant Manager to join our management team and lead both the Bar and Restaurant operations. You will drive guest experiences, manage a skilled team and work closely with hotel leadership to uphold high standards across service and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a busy bar/restaurant or hotel F&B operation.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service focus.
• Comfortable making decisions under pressure and directing teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Bar and Restaurant operations with high service standards.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Food & Beverage team.
• Ensure warm, professional and memorable guest experiences.
• Manage staffing, rosters and deployment according to needs.
• Train and coach staff to maintain service quality.
• Monitor guest feedback and address issues proactively.
• Coordinate with Kitchen to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain presentation, cleanliness and organisation across the department.
• Support stock management, ordering and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, licensing.
• Contribute to budgets, revenue targets and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and guest satisfaction.
• Be a strong floor presence during peak service periods.
