Fallon & Byrne in Dublin is seeking a dedicated Baker to join our Bakery team. You will assist with the preparation, baking and finishing of a range of high‑quality baked goods while upholding food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.

The role involves stock receipt, storage and rotation, plus collaborative work with colleagues to ensure smooth bakery operations. We value excellent customer service, reliability, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous experience in a bakery, kitchen, food production or similar environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, baking and finishing of a range of high‑quality baked goods.
• Follow established recipes, preparation methods and quality standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared, handled and stored in line with food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety throughout the kitchen and bakery areas.
• Assist with the receipt, storage and rotation of ingredients and stock.
• Support effective stock control and minimise food waste where possible.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the bakery.
• Provide excellent service to customers where the role involves customer interaction.
• Follow all relevant company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.
