Qualifications

• Must hold a valid EASA B2 Licence (unrestricted).
• Desirable Boeing 737-800 type rating.
• Experience leading Aircraft Mechanics teams.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with regulatory requirements, MOE, procedures and Personal Authorisation Certificates.
• Ensure aircraft documentation is completed and certified per MOE and procedures.
• Lead assigned team, ensure adherence to HR policies and safety practices.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment in line with Health and Safety policy.
• Effectively utilize staff under supervision and improve efficiency.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the Check Supervisor.

Ryanair Engineering Delivered by PAM Ireland Ltd has an exciting opportunity for B2 Engineers to join our team in our facility at Hangar 5, Shannon Airport. Reporting to the Check/Zone Supervisor, the successful candidates will join a team of highly skilled staff, contributing to the safe maintenance of a fleet of 600+ aircraft for one of the world's largest and most successful airlines. This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, offering significant growth potential in the aviation industry.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed in compliance with the requirements. set by the Regulatory Authorities, the company’s MOE, established procedures, and individual Personal Authorisation Certificates.
• Ensuring aircraft documentation is completed and certified in accordance with the MOE and company procedures.
• Lead an assigned team, ensuring adherence to all company regulations, HR policies and procedures, and safe working practices.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment, upholding the company's Health and Safety policy at all times.
• Responsible for effective utilization and enhanced efficiency of staff under their supervision.
• Perform additional tasks as reasonably required by the Check Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Must hold a valid, unrestricted EASA B2 Licence, ideally with a type rating for Boeing 737-800.
• Previous certification privileges in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Proven experience leading a team of Aircraft Mechanics.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment
• Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar applications.
• Excellent spoken and written English is essential.

This role is Shift Work. Day Shift 7am-7pm and Night Shift 7pm-7am. 12-hour rotating shift of 5 on / 3 off, 4 on / 4 off. You’ll work 2,080 hours per annum, averaging 40 hours per week.
